Why Trakabo?

I built Trakabo after realising how many subscriptions quietly renewed without me ever using them — and how hard cancelling still felt, in case I'd use them this time. The fix turned out to be simple: see what you actually get for what you pay. A swipe to log each use, a clear cost-per-use number, and a nudge a few days before each renewal — so deciding to keep, switch, or let go stops being a guess.

Frequently asked

Does Trakabo connect to my bank?
No. You add subscriptions manually. Nothing leaves your phone — Trakabo never sees your bank, your statements, or any account credentials.
Will it remind me before a subscription renews?
Yes. A few days before each renewal you get a notification with the upcoming charge, the cycle's usage, and a hint if the service has been quietly draining your account.
What about prepaid passes and punchcards?
Trakabo tracks them alongside subscriptions: how many uses are left, when they expire, and the effective cost per use as you go.
Does it sync between my devices?
Not yet. Today everything is stored on the iPhone. iCloud sync and an iPad layout are on the roadmap.
Which currencies does it support?
Trakabo uses your device's local currency automatically — CHF, EUR, USD, GBP, and others are all supported. Subscriptions and running totals appear in that currency.

Privacy

Trakabo works without an account. All your subscription and usage data lives on your device. Anonymous, aggregated usage analytics help me understand which features are useful — never personal information, and you can opt out in the app's settings. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
